Celebrate the end of the year! Join the students of Metropolitan Ballet Academy for their sparkling Showcase Performance of Under the Big Top.  Program will also feature contemporary works by choreographers, Denise D’Angelo, Sarah Mettin, Kanji Segawa, and Ashley Walton.

Our Creative Movement students (ages 3/4) will perform on Saturday morning at 11:00am — no tickets are necessary to attend this pre-show performance.

An Evening of Music and Dance with  Settlement Music School & Philadanco’s D/2

Admission $20.00 in Advance, $25.00 at the Door.  Run time is approximately 95 minutes, including one intermission.

Metropolitan Ballet Company (MBC) presents a vibrant evening of music and dance.  Cutting-edge choreography and live music, featuring musical ensembles from Settlement Music School, and contemporary dance works created for MBC and Philadanco’s D/2. Contemporary dance works by choreographers Kanji Segawa, Sarah Mettin, Ashley Walton, Anthony Burrell, & Donald Lunsford.

Run time is 90 minutes, and two intermissions.

A life-size dancing doll, a mysterious inventor, a zesty heroine and her true love all cross paths in this light-hearted comic ballet!

Metropolitan Ballet Company’s production of this classic story ballet is a delight for all ages.  Starring guest artists Melissa Gelfin (Cincinnati Ballet) &  Peter Weil (Pennsylvania Ballet).  Sergey Pupyrev, former Principal dancer with the Russian State Ballet in Moscow, will star as Doctor Coppelius.
