Philadelphia Inquirer Staff Writer Kristin Holmes and Photographer Ed Hille visited Pennell Elementary School on Thursday, March 23 to see our Kinetic Literacy class in action–and report about this fabulous program in MATH MOVES, featured on the front page of today’s Local News (section B).
Metropolitan Ballet Company board member (and former math head for the Upper Dublin School District) Janet Blenheim (in orange top in photo) created M3= Math x Music x Movement to teach math skills through dance.
Children ages 7-10, entering 2nd, 3rd or 4th grade in September, can take M3 at Metropolitan’s studio this summer, July 10-14. Register at 215.663.1665, email Angela Baseman, or sign up in the studio office.
