Cutting‐edge choreography and live music are the cornerstone of this vibrant evening of music and dance.
Jenkintown, PA — Metropolitan Ballet Company (MBC) and students from Settlement Music School will present their annual collaborative performance on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 7:00 pm at the Kurtz Center of William Penn Charter School, 3000 West School House Lane, Philadelphia, PA.
The highly accomplished young musicians of Settlement Music School will perform with Metropolitan Ballet’s 30-member classical dance company in a 90-minute tour de force, featuring musical ensembles, soloists, and original works for dancers and musicians.
The program will include three exciting contemporary premieres by guest choreographers Tommie‐Waheed Evans of PHILADANCO!, NYC choreographer/Alvin Ailey Company dancer,
Kanji Segawa, and NYC choreographer/MBC Alumna Sarah Mettin.
Tickets for the 7:00 pm performance on March 1, 2014 are $15.00 in advance or $18.00 at the door.
